Zebularine Modified RNA Synthesis
Zebularin (pyrimidine-2-one ribonucleoside) is a cystine analogue lacking the exocyclic amino group. , it can be incorporate at any position in RNA synthesis. Ribozyme activity is substantially affected by the substitution of modified pyrimidine bases. Zebularine and Pyridin-2-one Ribonucleoside, the 3-deaza analogue of Zebularine, are prime candidates for use in evaluating ribozyme activity and function. Zebularine is mildly fluorescent, absorbing at 298nm and emitting at 367nm.

Zebularine Modified RNA Synthesis
-20°C To -70°C
Oligonucleotides are stable in solution at 4°C for up to 2 weeks. Properly reconstituted material stored at -20°C should be stable for at least 6 months. Dried DNA (when kept at -20°C) in a nuclease-free environment should be stable for years.
