Phosphonoacetate PACE DNA Oligonucleotide Modification

Oligonucleotides containing this modification show great potential as biological modifiers in a wide variety of research applications. It offer improved transfection characteristics, enhanced nuclease resistance, and show considerable active in siRNA duplexes and accelerate the inital rate of cleavage by RNse H1 when incorporated with phosphorothioates, this modification also exhibit an enhancement in penetration of cultured cell .
