N3-Ethyl deoxycytidine (N3-Ethyl-dC) is a ethylated nucleoside modified pyrimidine. It is used for the study of DNA alkylation damage. N3 ethylcytosine (3EtC), is formed by ethylating agents in single-stranded DNA. Like N3-methylcytosine, it has been detected both in vitro and in vivo. These kind of lesions predominantly founded in single-stranded DNA. This modification stalls DNA synthesis and is likely to be toxic.

Product Information
-20°C To -70°C
Oligonucleotides are stable in solution at 4°C for up to 2 weeks. Properly reconstituted material stored at -20°C should be stable for at least 6 months. Dried DNA (when kept at -20°C) in a nuclease-free environment should be stable for years.
