Etheno-2'-deoxyadenosine Oligonucleotide Modification
Bio-Synhthesis offers Etheno deoxyadenosine dA (Etheno-dA) oligonucleotide modification. Ethano-dA is a highly fluorescent dA analogue with excitation maxima at 270 nm and 300 nm, and an emission meximum at 410 nm. This modification can be incorporate at any positions within a DNA or RNA oligonucleotide for RNA structural/functional studies, protein-RNA complexes and other diagnostic applications. due to the structure of the 1, N6 etheno structure o fethno dA will not base-pair with dT or dU, for this reason, oligonucleotide modified with etheno-dA at 3' or internally does not function as sequencing or PCR primer1. Primer modified with etheno-dA must located either at or close to the 5' end.

Product Information
Etheno-2'-deoxyadenosine Oligonucleotide Modification
1,N-6 etheno deoxyadenosine
-20°C To -70°C
Oligonucleotides are stable in solution at 4°C for up to 2 weeks. Properly reconstituted material stored at -20°C should be stable for at least 6 months. Dried DNA (when kept at -20°C) in a nuclease-free environment should be stable for years.
