Bio-Synthesis offers Black Hole Quencher®-3 dye oligonucleotide modification. BHQ-3 can be place at 5' or 3' terminus or internally of an oligonucleotide. BHQ®-3 labeled oligonucleotides are used in many applications, including dual-labeled fluorogenic probes for real-time PCR. This dark quencher has strong absorption range of 620-730 nm, which provides excellent quenching of fluorophores that fluoresce in this range, such as Quasar® 670 and Quasar 705 dyes.
