Black Hole Quencher 1 - BHQ1 Oligonucleotide Modification
Bio-Synthesis offers Black Hole Quencher®-1 dye oligonucleotide modification. BHQ-1 can be place at 5' or 3' terminus or internally of an oligonucleotide. BHQ®-1 labeled oligonucleotides are used in many applications, including dual-labeled fluorogenic probes for real-time PCR. This dark quencher has strong absorption range of 480 nm - 580 nm, which provides excellent quenching of fluorophores that fluoresce in this range, such as FAM, TET, CAL Fluor® Gold 540, JOE, HEX, CAL Fluor Orange 560, and Quasar® 570 dyes. BHQ-1 dye may quench fluorescence by both FRET and static quenching mechanisms. Contact Bio-Synthesis for BHQ1 Quencher Oligonucleotide Synthesis and Modification Services.
