Description:
This 19-amino acid long peptide is an antimicrobial peptide derided from the N-terminal region of Helicobacter pylori ribosomal protein L1 (RPL1). Helicobacter pylori is the bacterial pathogen associated with gastritis and peptic ulcers. This peptide has been shown to be highly successful in establishing infection in the human gastric mucosa.
