FceRI gamma - chain ITAM - Derived Phosphopeptide, TAMRA labeled

FceRI gamma-chain peptide derived from the cytoplasmic domains of the beta and gamma chains located in the sequence termed the immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motif (ITAM). This phosphopeptide has two conserved phospho-tyrosine residues within the ITAM consensus sequence plays an important role in receptor-mediated signal transduction. FCeRI g-chain ITAM-derived phospho peptide is a substrate for PTP1B (protein tyrosine phosphatase 1 B). It is responsible for initiating receptor mediated signal transduction through the Syk and Lyn tyrosine kinases. Aggregation of FceRI on mast cells and basophils initiates a signaling cascade that results in degranulation and the release of mediators of the allergic reaction.
