C12 Spacer Oligonucleotide Modification
Bio-Synthesis offers C12 Spacer Oligonucleotide Modification at various scales.
12-carbon atom spacer C12 is used to introduce a long spacer arm into an oligonucleotide.
Spacer C12 can be incorporated in multiple additions to create extremely long spacers
can also be placed between oligonucleotides, even though this spacer C12 modification
is often shown on the 5' terminal end of the oligonucleotide.
Spacer C12 oligonucleotide modifications are often used for solid-phase immobilization
of DNA probes or aptamers for microarray applications1,2, but can be
used for any oligonucleotide-based application requiring a long spacer arm.

Modification Service.
Purification:
Spacer modified oligonucleotide can be accomplished by various methods. Desalting
or cartridge purification is acceptable, however, additional purification by HPLC
is strongly recommended.
Price:
A 10% discount is given for more than two spacer modifications.
