DNA cross linking and Ligation

Crosslinking modified bases are used to stabilize the interaction of two weak covalent bonds. These crosslinking modified oligonucleotide bases are often used in affinity labeling of DNA and RNA binding proteins, interstrand crosslinks between DNA and/or RNA for molecular capturing and photo-induced crosslinking.
